Description: I'd been asking Clare to come along with me on one of my favorite activities, hiking, for a couple of years now. When she agreed the other day, I was delighted. Finally, we'd be able to spend some quality time together enjoying a pleasant workout and the beauty of nature all in one. It seemed a much more positive, healthy way to enjoy each others' company instead of our usual lunch dates, during which we both often indulged a bit too much. She promised she was up to it, as I warned her that my hikes are a whole lot more than a stroll through the park. She promised to wear appropriate attire, like proper shoes. But, when Clare met the great outdoors the two didn't get along...not at all!
